The club team plays in the Women's Premier Division of the Texas Collegiate Soccer League, part of the National Collegiate Club Soccer Association. Teams like Texas A&M, Texas State, Baylor, Texas Tech, among others, compete in the same division.
In 2009, the Longhorns posted a 7-1-1 record. The team advanced to the Regional Tournament hosted at UTSA where they earned a bid to the National Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. After defeating Virginia Tech and Cornell, the Horns lost in the round of 16 to Texas State by a score of 2-1.
During the regular season, the Longhorns scored an impressive 49 goals, while only conceding 6. A strong offense and impenetrable defensive took the team to the one of the best seasons the club has seen.
They hope to continue their success into the 2010 season.
